Counselling sessions can reduce the negative impact of high levels of stress, problems and increase your ability to reach your goals. It is no secret that there are many stressors in our current lives. Counselling sessions can be used when you become overwhelmed with your life generally and when problems arise such as lack of motivation, relationship difficulties negative thinking, anger, depression, sleep difficulties, pain and stress management and coping with day to day life. You can use counselling to reset yourself to live a life of what you value most and to improve psychological management of such areas as sports performance or public speaking.
I use a variety of approaches including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), hypnosis, Eye Movement Desensitization and Re-processing (EMDR), Hypnotic Relaxation Therapy, Mindfulness and psychotherapeutic techniques, such as reflective listening, support and solution focused problem solving.
I will meet with you whether you are eight years, eighty plus years or anywhere in between. You can schedule counselling appointments as an individual, couple, family or group.

Please choose from the following professional counselling services to suit your needs:
- INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING
- If you have individual change to personal issues that for which you would like to have an individualized approach, I will assist you to focus on what is most important to you. These are usually one hour in length and scheduled weekly, biweekly or as needed. One and one half hour sessions are scheduled for the first three sessions when EMDR is being used as part of your sessions.
- COUPLES COUNSELLING
- When problems arise in your partner, spousal or couple relationships, sessions together can assist you to get back on track. These sessions are one to one and one half hours in length and are scheduled similarly to the individual sessions' format.
- GROUP COUNSELLING
- Group counselling consists of six to eight usually unrelated individuals who come together for regular sessions to address such topics as communication skills development, conflict resolution strategies, management of mood, depression and anxiety, hypnotic relaxation therapy for hot flashes, improving emotional coping, mindfulness training and inspired living or other topics as requested. These sessions can be half or full day workshops or two hours weekly for four to six weeks duration. Your group can determine what best suits your counselling goals and needs.
